Images don't copy when I copy projects
When I copy projects, the images don't seem to copy over, too. Then I get into trouble because the images are being pulled from another project. What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this?

What do you mean by "copy projects"?
-in Windows Explorer, the whole project, including all the folders?
-in Flare Content Explorer, one folder moving to another folder?
-something else?

It has been awhile since I've done it, but I think I did it in Windows Explorer.

and you copied everything? or did you just copy certain folders and have your images in the Resources folder?

I'm fairly sure I copied everything. I'm a completist. I rarely do things halfway. Unless it's cocktail hour, of course. Grin.

Were the images in the project or referenced out to a different location?

Hmmm...that I don't recall. I know I have had trouble copying projects in the past. Haven't had to copy one recently.

Re: Images don't copy when I copy projects
I've encountered this problem. Usually, the images *did* copy -- the problem was that, for some reason, the image links in topics of the pasted project still referenced the images of the original project. I don't believe it always happens. The only way it should happen is if the image source links are absolute linkes (i.e., links that start from, say, a drive letter, like C:\blabla) rather than relative linkes (links that are only defined relative to the topic in which they are linked, such as ../Resources/Images/bla.png). Somehow, for some of my projects, the process of copying made the links absolute (even though they were relative in the original project).
I never figured out what went wrong, so I'm afraid I can't help, beyond saying that you need to simply do a find / replace of the "bad" source path in your code with a proper relative link. But you must be careful -- all the relative links must be the same, or you must modify each link as appropirate to ensure that the image is found.

That makes sense to me. When I first started using Flare, I snagged image captures into separate folders in Snagit, rather than using Flare. Then I began using Flare's resources/image folders and things got easier. Those early projects of mine are still, well, messy.
