Project Wide Defaults

I just started using Mimic a few weeks ago and have tried looking for a place to set up project-wide defaults. I've set the screen-size default for a single movie, then had to set the same default for the other 10 movies in the project. Is there a way to propagate the change though all the movies. I also have the same question about text. I decided to change fonts and size for the text and had to select each text box and change it. Luckily, I didn't have many to change. Am I missing something? I am using Mimic 1, which I had, to see if if this is the tool I wanted to use to produce the tutorial I am working on.

The other strangeness I've seen is that two text boxes on the same frame have the same font and size, but look different. In Rich Text, the text looks correct.

For your second question, the tip is to save the objects you change to the palette.

Once you have finished modifying the font etc right click and select Add to Palette from the context menu.

To use the object as a template make sure the Palettes pane is open. Either click the Palettes button or click View -> Palettes. Tou can drag and drop from the palletes pane onto a movie frame.
