Warning: "Link points outside project file"
Why is this an error? What am I doing wrong? I try to repurpose images and so forth, but I keep running into this warning/caution.

Re: Warning: "Link points outside project file"
Check your link and href references -- it sounds like something is referencing something outside the project, which means whatever is being referenced won't be included in the built output. So if it's an image file, it needs to be stored somewhere inside the project folder, which is generally somewhere inside the images folder. If the image is stored inside the project file, then check all references to the image -- one of those href calls might still be pointing outside instead of inside the project.

Re: Warning: "Link points outside project file"
That's what I don't understand.
I have a company logo I re-use, but I can't store it in a folder on my Windows machine and import it into every Flare project without getting warned. I have to copy the image file into the Resources/Images folder of every new project.
Doesn't that seem a bit repetitious? I guess that's just how Flare operates.

Re: Warning: "Link points outside project file"
You need global project linking. Create global project for shared content and import into working projects.
Re: Warning: "Link points outside project file"
Your choices are to 1) copy the logo file into each project, or 2) create a "master" project that contains the items you re-use between projects (logo, base stylesheet definitions, skin, page layouts, etc.) and link that master project to your project. When you do that, the logo lives in the master project while you're authoring in the child project, but when you build the child project, it imports all the items in the master project into the output folder of the child project.
EDIT: What raikeswood said is my option 2. Our posts crossed in the ether.
