How do you exit the MadCapDropDown control on the design view? I guess I am missing something easy. Unbind kills the entire control(class). Not sure what to do here easily.
I found IT...use the down arrow cursor til it flattens and hit return..Good grief. I hope this short thread will help someone.
Whats the best way to exit a MadCapDrop Down Control?

That's the fastest way I've found in design view.
Before I discovered that, I was opening the code view and just adding an empty paragraph there

Use the down arrow on your keyboard.
Watch the block bars on the left side of the editor. When the block that contains the Dropdown turns blue, press the enter key.
It will insert a new paragraph below the dropdown.
