Setting left margin in table

I am a new user of Flare 5 and because I was a RH user, I don't really have a grasp on the inner workings of stylesheets...I'm just kind of stumbling through adding and revising them. So for instance, I can't figure out how to set the left and right margin of a table. If I create the table using Table/insert/Table, the Insert Table dialog doesn't give me an opportunity to set the margins. I figure this is something you do with a style, and I am sticking with Topic Style stylesheets, rather than getting into Table Style stylesheets. I can create a new td style, but I can't figure out how to get the left margin to be, let's say 1.5 inches from the left margin. I have search this forum and the Flare help for "Tables, margins" and similar things, but have not found an explanation. Thanks for any help.

I use the table stylesheets to accomplish this. You can create a table style and set a left margin in the General tab.

Just make sure in the Table Properties screen (not the Tablestyle Editor) that you set the table alignment or whatever to default or not set (sorry, don't have Flare open at the moment to verify the field name or value). If you set it to one of the others then Flare will insert an inline style in the table tag in the topic, which will override the left margin you specify in the table stylesheet.
