unable to save changes to stylesheet

I am completely unable to save changes to my stylesheet. I am in the sheet, in simplified view, and I added a class for images. Now, when I try to edit that class or any of them for that matter and I click "ok," and the changes don't take. It is really confusing because I have done this several times before. Is something checked or checked that shouldn't be? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

You might find that you need to click off the item that you've changed, and then save. Give that a go and let us know if that works.

No, it's not you. You should be able to make any number of changes to the stylesheet before having to save it, just like with a topic or the skin or any other file. It's just that the Stylesheet Editor seems to have a problem with updating the display unless you save changes before moving to another tag.

Yep. I suspect whatever code Flare uses to determine if a value has been changed (and thus, able to be saved) does not kick in until the Leave event fires (the Leave event occurs when focus leaves the current field). It should probably work off of the TextChanged event instead (which fires the event when you change the text in the field).

I'll submit a bug report about this...the issue bites me as well.

I'm having a similar issue only mine is that the changes are saved and when I go to use the updated style, it's not updated with the new change even though in the stylesheet it shows it as saved. I have closed Flare completely and reopened and tried to use again and it's still using the old style even though the changes saved. Does it matter if another user has Flare open while the stylesheet is being updated/saved?

I do notice if I'm in a topic working and another user has updated the stylesheet, a message appears at the bottom of the Flare window saying the stylesheet has changed or something like that, and I have to completely exit out of my topic and re open it for the stylesheet to be applied.

Could it be that you edited the wrong medium in your stylesheet? It really should be a lot more obvious in the UI, but people often get bitten by that one.
