Links within the mini-TOC

Post by JudyH »

I've found the formatting for the mini-TOC, but there doesn't seem to be anything to impact the links themselves. I know how to create a subclass for the links and their pseudo-classes -- but how can a particular class of links be assigned to the mini-TOC?

Edit -- I gather that there are at least two classes of links in the mini-TOC, depending on the heading level. Given that, then creating an a: class might not make sense. But I would still like to modify the appearance of the topic headings in the mini-TOC.

I've tried changing the Font / Color settings under the miniTOCProxy style, but the only thing that changes is the color of the underline. I think there must be another "list" setting somewhere determining the format values for the text for the various heading entries.

Just when I think I've found it -- I haven't.

I located the p.MiniTOC1 through p.MiniTOC10 styles and edited those. They look perfect in the Master page preview window.

But when I compile the help, I'm back to the original font colors and styles -- the changes I made to the styles as noted above, are not being reflected.

Are you changing them in the correct medium? (print styles vs. web styles)

Yes. Our last posts were at about the same time. I followed some of the links in the earlier post and was able to find a resolution. Thanks for your help.
