While trying to get some functionality working in a mobile targeted Flare project, I discovered an article with the title 'It looks like Java is next on Apple's kill list' at the following link:
http://www.techspot.com/news/40814-it-l ... -list.html
I'm interested in comments on how this may/may not affect creating Flare output for iPhones.
The topic I'm working on uses Javascript to create tabs, which currently work as expected.
Also, any suggestions as to the complexity of displaying avi files (or other video) and playing audio directly on the mobile would be appreciated. At the moment I have them playing via WinMedia on the PC monitor, not in the Mobile skin. This of course wouldn't be much use to a user standing in the street with just his/her mobile in hand.
I may well be reaching beyond my grasp..?

I didn't read the article, but Java and JavaScript are not the same thing. It's not likely that they would get rid of JavaScript and Flare doesn't use Java.young@heart wrote:I discovered an article with the title 'It looks like Java is next on Apple's kill list' ...
