My developers gave me a javascript file they want me to add to the flare project. Can someone please tell me how to do this?

Thanks!

Store it in a folder in your project, then the easiest thing to do is open the masterpage for the project in the Internal Text Editor and add a link ref pointing to the JS file. That way the file will be available to every topic in the output.

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for the help. Can u give me some idea of what that code might look like? I did try this (maybe with incorrect code) and it did not seem to publish the .js file.

Thanks.

What do you mean it didn't publish the JS file? Do you mean the code didn't seem to be available for you use to as a call in a topic, or do you mean the file didn't upload to a web server when you published the project?

The file didnt copy to the published location and output location.

However, I fiddled around with it and it seems to be working now.

Thanks for your help.
