Breadcrumbs proxy is not editable

Post by henkjans »

Dear forum members,
I'm new here aswell as I'm new in developing with Flare.
Right now I've difficulties with using breadcrumbs in Newpages.
I've specified a Newpages with is visible in Resources. When I'm open it I see 4 bars of which the top one is the breadcrumb one.
Rightclick, I want to edit the breadcrumbs proxy properties, but I can't pick a Stylesheet Class from the picklist (it's empty).
Assuming that the default style is used (MADCAP | breadcrumb) I tried to edit this default to my needs.
When I'm open it's properties I see only 2 tabs "Font" and "Advanced". No posibility to change eg. the ">" character into my own.
So far, I'm stuck in understanding the use of breadcrumbs. :x

Welcome to the forums.

You can only edit those styles if you are using the Advanced View in the stylesheet editor (you're currently looking at the Simplified View).

Flare's help should cover the basics:

Thanks Dave, one step further, next is to activate this newpages on the already made (test) topics.

Open the target properties, go to the Advanced tab, and set the Master Page there.
