Multiple class names for an element

Post by Craig.Prichard »

Does Flare support assigning more than one (1) class name to an element, e.g.

Code: Select all

<p class="indent code">
or

Code: Select all

<span class="bold italic">
? I have tried a few tests that did not work. According to http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/struct/global.html#h-7.5.2 it should be possible. My CSS file is massive: .monospaced, .bold, .indent, .auto-number-reset, .monospaced_bold, .monospaced_indent, .indent_auto-number-reset, etc. If I can eliminate all the redundant values by just applying multiple classes my CSS would be greatly simplified. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I think I've tried it in the past, too, and it didn't work. I didn't test it in all the browsers, though, so I'm not sure if it's a browser support issue or a Flare support issue. I don't think I've tried that since v4, though. Which version of Flare did you try it with?

You can submit a bug report about it to http://www.madcapsoftware.com/bugs/submit.aspx.
