The 2011 MadCap Roadshow -- Full Schedule
Posted: Thu Feb 03, 2011 4:29 pm
Hi Everyone -
As many of you heard, the MadCap Roadshow schedule has been announced! For the next three months, we'll be visiting 16 cities across the U.S. and Canada.
This non-product specific training is ideal for all skill levels of technical communicators and managers, regardless of which product(s) you are currently using. The Roadshow also serves as a great opportunity to network with fellow peers in your city.
“The MadCap Roadshow in San Diego was probably the best value for the dollar of any training or product demonstration I've seen yet.â€
-Don Rasky, 2010 Roadshow
Did You Attend the 2010 Roadshow? You Don’t Want to Miss 2011.
Not a single presentation will be the same from last year’s show. Every presentation has been completely updated, overhauled, or re-written, including the brand new session, Advanced Techniques: Leverage the Power of your Tools and Environment. New trends, new technologies, as well as new and upcoming product features will be discussed to keep you up to date with the latest in technical communication.
Led by Mike Hamilton, VP of Product Management, the agenda covers topics critical for today’s technical writers, including print and online publishing best practices, collaboration and content management within team environments, and formatting your documentation with CSS.
Session 1 | Content Reuse
Authoring Techniques to Maximize Content Reuse
Session 2 | Publishing
Print, Desktop, Web, and Mobile: Multi-channel Publishing From One Source
Session 3 | Team Authoring
Collaboration and Content Management: Team Authoring Strategies and Techniques
Session 4 | Advanced Techniques
Advanced Techniques: Leverage the Power of Technology
Session 5 | CSS
Controlling Your Look: The Power of Cascading Style Sheets
For a limited time only, the training event is only $99 per person (normally $149). Space is limited, and the 2010 dates filled up quickly, so be sure to sign up early.
