Stylesheet metadata

Post by scooter262 »

We recently updated our main stylesheet that we use with all topics for our main deliverable, a WebHelp target. During the update, several new styles were created. Now, we need some sort of usage guide to describe where and why to use each style.

So, my question is whether there is a good place to store this sort of stylesheet meta-data within the project itself. Ideally, there would be some sort of meta data field available for each style within the stylesheet. Or, possibly a meta-data page available for the entire stylesheet.

However, as far as I know, Flare (we're using the latest version, 6.1.0) doesn't have this capability. Does anyone else store this sort of information for their stylesheets? And if so, where?

We have an editorial guide that includes that. It's a HTML Help produced by Flare. I have a shortcut on my task bar opening the .chm.
