CHM compile error - Windows 7

Hi,

My computer "freezes" in the final stage of the HTML online help generation. I used to be able to build the target, but I have upgraded my workstation to windows 7. I don't know if this could be related, it might also be something else.

Has anyone else experienced this, or know how to solve it?

The compilation reaches this stage below, and stays there for hours - no error message. But the build never completes - so it "freezes" at this stage.



I am using Flare 5.0.0 03-06-2009

Do you run Flare with admin privileges? If not, try that and see if it fixes the issue. Unfortunately, Flare needs admin privileges for some tasks.

Running as administrator unfortunately did not help with this issue.

Update: I can confirm, that this is probably a Windows 7 related issue. A copy of the same project had no problems building on an XP machine.

I had the same problem with Flare 3.1 and was told it was because of the old Flare version. Apparently it is not. Have you found any solution to this?
