When I send new or revised help topics to our QA, I generate a PDF directly from the help topic by selecting File > Print, then selecting the Adobe PDF printer.
I'm getting the following issues:
"Failed to run command 'Print'.
Exception:
The specified datatype is invalid"
Has anyone else run into this issue since installing Madcap Flare 7?
I'm on a Windows 7 64bit machine, Flare 7, and Acrobat X Professional.
I'll file a bug too, I just wanted to see if it was just me - I'm the "guinea pig" in my department, and they won't roll Flare 7 out to the rest of my coworkers until this is resolved.

Yep, I can confirm I'm getting the same error. Windows XP Pro, Flare 7, Acrobat 9 Pro.

Me, too.
As a workaround, preview the topic and then print to Adobe PDF from there. I just tested it, and it worked nicely.

RETIRED, but still fond of all the Flare friends I've made. See you around now and then!

I'm getting the error too. Win XP SP3, Flare 7, Acrobat Pro X
Using CutePDF Writer (free) seems to work as well.
