Popup Windows Don't Work in IE9/IE8

My subject sums it up.

In my case, the cursor starts flickering when hovering over a popup window link, and Javascript errors start getting thrown.

In IE8 and IE9, it works if you use the Developer Tools and change the browser to IE7 standards.

This is output created with Flare v6/WebHelp. Mac Safari, Chrome and Firefox all work fine.

And here I thought the new IE browsers were supposed to finally be compliant...

What sort of popup are you talking about - a topic popup or a text popup?

I'm currently testing our help in IE9, and I've not seen any problems with either popup type in either IE8 or IE9.
