Issue with WebHelp toolbar in HTML Help in Flare 7

Post by MC Hammer »

Dear all
I upgraded to Flare 7 yesterday and also have been experiencing problems with popups (like others on this forum, by the looks of it), I seem to also have an issue with the WebHelp toolbar.
I produce HTML Files with a WebHelp toolbar in every topic.
In Flare 6, my WebHelp toolbar would appear ok, i.e. its bottom is not chopped off. However, in Flare 7, I get the following:
Cropped_toolbar.png
I thought that maybe the toolbar height had been reset to a default value in Flare 7 but it is the same number of pixels as in Flare 6 (Skin | Styles | Frame | Toolbar | Height). I tried increasing this value, to no avail.
Has anyone else seen something similar? Any ideas as to how I can solve this? (Maybe add some padding somewhere?).
Thanks in advance for any input.

Some of the Flare-specific style names changed in v7. I'm not sure if that's an issue with the toolbar, but it's something to check. Right-click in the topic in the generated output and select the option to view the source code. Look in the code blocks around the toolbar and see if any of the style names have changed (they'll have a _0 added to the end of the name). If you see something like that and you've defined one of those styles in your stylesheet to control its behavior, you'll need to rename the class in your stylesheet to match the new name you're seeing in the output.

If you look at the style below Toolbar you'll see TopicToolbar - that's what you need to edit for topic toolbars.

The Toolbar style is the WebHelp frame toolbar.

Hello Lisa and Dave
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh, some MadCap styles have changed names, you were right, Lisa, what a nightmare...However, this is not what is causing me grief re: this particular issue. I think Dave pointed me towards the right direction. I do not know why I was looking at the Toolbar style  . The TopicToolbar is what I need to edit but I am puzzled as this was working in Flare v6. It looks like it is being reset to the default value (28px) in Flare 7, or something.
Am off to update all my skins.
Thanks again for the input!
