[V7 Eval]
In some large tables, we currently use a TableSubhead (identical in looks to the TableHead) as a grouping row with merged cells (grouping by the panels in a dialog, for example).
The only thing I have seen in the Table Style Editor is the ability to add Body2 to Body1 to achieve alternating formats (usually different background colors). Is there anything I'm missing that would allow us to add a different element on an ad hoc basis? Or should we simply create new tables with a thead directly under the previous one (effectively giving the appearance of a single table), and adding a tfoot (if needed) only to the last table?
Thx,
Leon
Customizing table styles?
Re: Customizing table styles?
In v7, you can add row/column styles that you can apply manually on an ad-hoc basis (previously they had to be in a fixed pattern).
In the table stylesheet editor, add the new row style and set its Type to Custom.
Then in your table, right-click a row and select the appropriate Row Style.

How wonderful! Just what I needed!
Who knew that little arrow in the Type column was good for anything?
Thx,
Leon
