A predictable question, I know. Knowledgebase article?
UPDATE: Well, a problem we had where hyphens were being ignored in the WebHelp Index tab seems to have been fixed. Thank you, MadCap!
What's fixed in 7.0.1? (And what isn't?)

Yes, i'm also looking for this info.
Madcap it would be really nice if you had included a readme or knowledge base article with the update...

Can't tell you what's fixed, but I've noticed what's broken - when viewing my topics in Print layout and Print medium, I have all the caret tags visible, and they refuse to turn off! This is in EVERY topic not just the one I was looking at before I installed the upgrade. VERY frustrating!
Edit: the little <t> button at the top is a toggle switch. Am I being dense and just didn't notice that in previous versions or is this new?

The problem with using quotation marks in searches has been resolved.

Lisa, could you elaborate? What was the issue?LTinker68 wrote:The problem with using quotation marks in searches has been resolved.

Well, it's sorta fixed. There were two issues. In WebHelp output (don't know about WebHelp Plus), if you used quotes around one or more words to designate a specific phrase to search on, 1) it would return results but not highlight the phrase in the topics, and 2) the Loading image wouldn't go away.Bahbert wrote:Lisa, could you elaborate? When I tested v7.0.1 after installing it, both issues seemed to be resolved. When I just tried it again, they both appeared to still be an issue. I'll have to do some more testing. This is publishing to a web server, so perhaps something happened when I published. I'll have to play with it some more.
EDIT: I just realized that I probably inadvertently broke the fix. I have a modified version of MadCapAll.js that I use that controls the hover color in the TOC. I copied that over the one used in v7.0.1, and I think that's what broke it again. Looks like I'll have to modify MadCapAll.js again, this time using the version created by v7.0.1.
EDIT 2: I confirmed that I had inadvertently broken the fix. I re-edited the new MadCapAll.js file for v7.0.1 and uploaded that to the site and the search with quotes now works. HOWEVER, it is a partial fix. If you do a search on "green meadow", for example, it will highlight search results of "green meadow". However, although it will find instances of "green meadows", it won't highlight them. It won't even highlight the portion of the phrase that does match (everything but the "s" at the end). I informed MadCap of the lingering issue. So it will search using quotes and the Loading image goes away, but the highlighting isn't quite fixed (although it is better). At least, it's not completely fixed in my opinion.
