Should be an easy one, but I can't figure it out. When I right-click a file and hover over Open Linked File With, mspaint.exe is not an option.
Any idea how to fix this?
Specifics:
- This is a new Flare install for a colleague.
- Paint is installed on the machine.
- I edited an image in paint and used it in Flare, but Flare will not offer mspaint.exe as an option when I right-click the same image in Flare.
- I did not have to do anything on my machine to get mspaint.exe as an option.

Re: Open images in Paint??
The list probably shows only those applications that are registered for the file type. Found a Microsoft KB article that is for XP, but should be similar in other Windows versions. As far as I know it is also possible to register multiple apps for an extension.

Re: Open images in Paint??
To register an image with Windows right click an image in Windows Explorer and select Open With from the context menu. Choose Paint from the programs list (you may have to browse for it if it is not on the list). Make sure you do not have the Always Use This Program option selected (unless you always want to use Paint...). Once you open the image Paint should be registered with Windows.
The next time you open Flare (I'm not sure if you will need a restart) you should have Paint listed.
HTH. (And hope this works, as well)

Re: Open images in Paint??
Ramon and Steve, Thanks very much for the tips.
I am happy to report after manipulating the graphics in Paint and rebooting, Paint became an option in Flare.
