It's not you. Are you using Flare on a computer running XP? On a computer running XP, the dark highlight obscures the text of the index entry. On a computer running Vista (and probably Windows 7 also), the text is easy to see because the highlight color is much lighter.

That likely depends on the Windows theme used. Microsoft made some moronic choices in most themes, but it is worth switching to a different one or changing it in the preferences.

More the choice of Microsoft rather than the author. Or the user not optimizing the color scheme for efficient use. Not sure if that means if it is you or not.

Ummmm, this is XP, default color scheme....

No other apps have this issue. Only Flare help.

I think the Flare author wins the prize on this one.
