Editing a Page without viewing bookmarks or keywords

Is there any way to view and edit a help page while hiding bookmarks and keywords?

Yes. Just above the XML Editor, click the drop-down arrow next to the <t> icon. There are options in there you can toggle off to hide various types of markers or other info.
