Install on hard disk portable?

for various reasons, I need to use flare on many computers that do not have the program (for example, a cyber or my school).

There any way to install the application on a portable hard disk to use it on any computer?

The Flare licence allows you to install on several machines provided you are only using one instance of the licence at a time - check the licence terms to see if this helps.

I don't think you can install on a portable hard drive because Flare uses the registry.

Another option is to create a virtual PC on the portable hard drive and instal Flare to the VPC.

So I can install 4 copies of Flare on 4 different machines and use 1 licence, as long as only 1 machine is running Flare at a time....I did not know this!

Although, MadCap surely won't complain if you buy licenses for your primary PC, secondary PC, home primary PC, home secondary PC, business laptop, home laptop, weekend getaway laptop, iPhone, Android phone, Symbian phone...

Unless the wording in the license agreement changed, it used to mention two installations, such as a home and work PC, or work PC and laptop, etc. I don't think it says unlimited. On the other hand, it may not use an exact number and I just remember the example they used of home and work PC and always thought it was just two that were allowed.
