Sub-toc appearing in toc book topics

The topics in my webhelp that are associated with toc books, when published, include a list of the topics that reside under that toc book. Like a mini-toc for that section of the toc.

I quite like it, but I can't find out where to edit the styles (as you can see in the attached screenie, my visited links are red & my unvisited links are black).

Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Also, what is this thing called, and how can I control its presence (does that make me sound like darth vader?)

I had to add minitoc styles to override the flare defaults.
