Topics showing up in help when excluded via condition tags

OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Version: Flare 7.1

I'm running down to the wire here on a major deadline, and now it seems that Flare is IGNORING my conditions.

The Primary target is DotNet help. It has a condition tag of HelpOnly. Every other condition tag is excluded. (I've checked the dialog box AND looked at the file in the Internal Text editor.)

It still compiles with topics that have been tagged as (for example) "GuideOnly" - which is for PDF output only.

I've:

- Cleaned the project
- Deleted the Analyzer folder
- Checked in all applicable pending files (my output, both help and PDF, is automatically built with the software using a batch target)
- Searched Google using my ruthless GoogleFu skills
- Searched MadCap help
- Tried every suggestion I've found in this forum

Since tonight is the final build, I'll be here until this is fixed. Please....help!

Rachel

If you manually build the target, does the same thing happen?

Yes, it does happen if I manually build the target.

We build separate stylesheets for online and other uses, but use the same style names. Things we don't want to display in online help have display: none in the stylesheet. Have you tried that?

If a topic has two conditions, and one condition is set to include and the other is exclude, flare will always include that topic. Do topics you want excluded contain a conflicting condition?

Thats all i can think of without seeing your target and toc/topic conditions.
