Crossreferences to reused topic

I'm reusing the same topic twice in my manual in this kind of fashion:

topic A (found on page 14 in manual)
...topic B (found on page 15 in manual)

(lots of other topics)

topic M (found on page 232 in manual)
...topic B (found on page 238 in manual)

The problem is that both topic A and F contain a crossreference to topic B and in both cases it points to page 238 in my printed manual. Is there a way to make the crossreference in topic A point to page 15 and the crossreference in topic F point to page 238, even though they both point to the same topic in Flare?

If I understand correctly, this sounds like a job for snippets. You could create a snippet with the content that you want to duplicate, then create two topics (they can be called the same thing as long as they are in different folders) such as Topic Elephant and Topic Rhino and insert the snippet into each one. You can then have Topic A pointing to the Topic Rhino which contains snippet B and Topic F pointing to the Topic Elephant which also contains snippet B.... does that make sense or have I had too much tea today?

You should also set one of the topics to not be searchable so your users won't get the same content returned to them twice when they do a search. Likewise, you might want to have index entries in the header of one topic and not in the other topic.

I can't believe I didn't think of snippets, I've used them before but removed them for one reason or another. I must have removed them from my mind as well.
