Why the Flare editor is so buggy... clues

As you know, I consistently have found the editor to be really buggy when driven from the keyboard.

Today, I received back from Flare support, related to a bug I reported:

Using your topic, I have traced this issue down to the inclusion of a variable with a space after it.

I have submitted a bug report to the developers regarding this issue. In the future, please reference this report with the number 45221.

This has been a pretty common theme in my work with Flare:

a) If the user is keyboard centric
and
b) There is anything "different" in the content (tags, index entries, variables, hrefs, etc etc)

then
c) Flare editor goes sideways in unexpected, and upsetting, ways.

I have 100+ hours in Flare at this point, and I keep finding issues, which is very disappointing and frustrating. I have submitted something like 40+ bugs to Flare, some of which were fixed in 7.1.
