How do I avoid a word breaking across lines? Is there some way to mark a word as non-breaking? There is no hyphen in the word.
Thanks

Re: Nonbreaking Word
In the paragraph properties (CTRL+ALT+B) there is an option Hyphenation. You can set it to never.

Thanks, DocuWil. That worked.
I never knew about the Format > Paragraph command. The properties dialog evidently offers, what amounts to, style 'overrides' for the selected paragraph.

Re: Nonbreaking Word
I see that this method does not work on hard hyphens. Is there any way to get e-mail to not break across lines?
I've tried inserting it as a Variable and as a Snippet— still breaks.

I think that in the case you mention: e-mail, the only option you have is to use SHIFT+ENTER just before the character 'e'.

Re: Nonbreaking Word
I don't have Flare open to test this, but I think this worked. Create a span class and set its white-space attribute to nowrap. Then apply that span class around the word e-mail. I believe that will keep the word together. The downside is that I think there's a bug in Flare where it will run that nowrapped word over the margin instead of moving it to the next line, but that bug may have been fixed, so you can give it a try.
