Dont want odd and even headers/footers

Post by Pamb10 »

Right now my doc is generating odd and even page headers and footers and I do not want that.

I am using a Page Layout for only one Page type
Auto0end on left page is disabled.

Any way to correct this?

In the page layout, use a Normal page instead of Left/Right pages. You may have to delete the Left/Right pages in order to get it to use the Normal page; I'm not sure (I don't have any page layouts with both).

I only have a normal page in the page layout. I am successfully using this page layout for another target in the same project successfully. I just cannot see what the difference is between the two other than obviously the content and TOC. But the toc settings seem to be the same.

If the page layout does not have left/right pages then this particular target must be using a different page layout somehow, no? I would check the target settings and the TOC settings to make sure it is indeed pointing to the page layout that you want. I have had this happen to me before when using "default" as the specified page layout, and somewhere up the line the default was not what I expected.

I've seen similar behavior when I had target A set as Primary and built target B from the target's drop-down menu.
