When importing DITA content into a project, does Flare support nested Ditamaps (ditamaps containing references to other ditamaps)?
I watched a demo online where the presenter was able to successfully import a ditamap that contained refs to two other ditamaps using Flare 5.5 (I think) There was only a mild mix up about which ditamap was the master. I have both Flare 6 and Flare 7 (two different machines), and when I import a ditamap with sub-ditamaps I get an error saying that Flare could not find the map.dtd (for some reason it's looking for the map.dtd in the folder where my ditamaps and topics are located). The import is failing completely.
Is there a configuration or style sheet setting that I need, or is this a known bug/limitation?
thanks,
Rob

Re: Importing Nested Ditamaps
Indeed - is importing nested ditamaps supported? I can import a single ditamap. If that ditamap contains any submaps, a typical dita construct, I get an error about it not being able to locate dtds. Any ideas out there?
Thanks!

Re: Importing Nested Ditamaps
Submaps are supported. However, I have found that depending on where the XML files are pointing to, in order to validate the files (where the DTD's are being referenced from). You may have to download the DITA 1.2 (or 1.1) DTD's from the OASIS website, and place those in your project folder. I have an open ticket against this that Madcap has acknowledged is a bug.
