WebHelp Skin icons source folder?

Post by Down2Earth »

Can anyone help me locate the source folder for the WebHelp Skin icons?

I have associated my skin to my project, and I have located the output folder with the icons that are used. But, I am having difficulty locating the source folder for those icons. Please help as I cannot find this information in the documentation.

Don't know if this is different in 7, but in 6.1 the icons are put here (assuming default install directory):

C:\Program Files (x86)\MadCap Software\MadCap Flare V6.1\Flare.app\Resources\WebHelp\Default.flwht\Images

That worked! Thank you so much! (I would have never thought to look there for something that gets generated with my project.)

FYI, this is a consequence of MadCap's decision to make skin files completely standalone (i.e. not reliant on links to outside resources such as image files).

Remember to save a copy of the original skin icons if you're planning on making changes to them. if you change something in this folder, it will apply to all of your projects going forward.
