Is there any way to keep my WebHelp TOC from shifiting and aligning with the topic selections?
My TOC has 4 levels. When I click to open the topic in the 4th level, the whole TOC shifts and left-aligns for the 4th level topic. I guess it does this so that the topic will be more visible, but I find it very distracting. I would rather use the scrollbar at the bottom of the TOC if I want to shift it to the right or left. I would like to "lock" my TOC to align for my top-level topics, so that all topics are visible. Is there a setting that I am not finding?
Thank you,
Linda

Re: WebHelp TOC Aligns with Selections
you could just make sure your toc names are short enough that the user won't have to scroll to see the titles. to me, it seems just as easy to scroll back/left when the screen shifts as it is to scroll right to see the whole name.
you can set the width of your TOC in the skin editor so that more of the titles will fit without scrolling.
