I have two stylesheets: one for mobile webhelp and one for printed docs (Word or PDF).
The option for the Stylesheet drop-down is grayed out (disabled). I've tried both applying and removing the Master Stylesheet from the Project Properties, which doesn't work. I've tried both selecting an individual topic's properties and selecting topics from the File List, but the Stylesheet drop-down selections are still disabled. I'm not using a Topic Style Class if that makes any difference.
Even if I create a new topic, if won't let me apply a specific stylesheet.

The stylesheet is probably set at the target level.

Yes, you can set the stylesheet at the target level. I just want to set it per topic.

Right, sorry, I'm saying tht if the stylesheet is set at the project and/or target level, then you CAN'T set it at the topic level. You can only set it at the topic level if it is not set at either of the other two places.

Re: Cannot select stylesheet in topic properties dialog
You're right. I see that now. I am still having issues but I think it's because I had initially used local formatting. I wish there was a way to globally change that back to the default. I'll post how I fixed this in case anyone else makes the mistakes I did when setting up my project with local formatting.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Cannot select stylesheet in topic properties dialog
If I remove the default stylesheet designation from both the project and the target (I only have one target that uses the topic I want to set a different stylesheet on), my stylesheet selector in the Topic Properties dialog is still disabled. Am I missing something here?
It's odd because when I look at the HTML it is linking in the header to the stylesheet I want, but all the styles I see in wysiwyg view are from the default stylesheet.

Re: Cannot select stylesheet in topic properties dialog
I'm not clear on what you mean by "remove the default stylesheet", but you must make sure the master stylesheet setting in the project and target properties is set to (default).kellyh_hochanadel wrote:If I remove the default stylesheet designation from both the project and the target
Also, if you have more that one target, bear in mind that the editor will reflect the settings of your primary target; so make sure the target you choose as your primary doesn't use a master stylesheet.
If you set a master stylesheet, Flare will ignore any stylesheet links in your topics, and in the output it will include only the master stylesheet in their place.kellyh_hochanadel wrote:It's odd because when I look at the HTML it is linking in the header to the stylesheet I want, but all the styles I see in wysiwyg view are from the default stylesheet.
