No properties in Skin Editor?

I set up the skin for my mobile output several months ago. Today I went in to make a minor change. When I select any object under Styles, no properties are listed. It says (no selection). I have styles defined. I have colors in the header and Home button. Any idea why I can't see them?

I was working on a small screen and did not resize the window.
