Flare Dropdown Question

Post by bdietz »

When I output my project, the dropdowns display already opened. I'd like them to be closed when the page opens. How do I set this? Also, for expanded and dropdowns, the icons are offset from the text. Any ideas what's happening there?

Thank you

Dropdowns are normally be closed; they should only be open if you open the topic from the search results.

How to style drop-downs is covered in the help: http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare ... n_Text.htm

Dave, it turns out that was some temporary issue, and the drop-downs now are closed when the WebHelp is opened. However, they are offset just a few points above the baseline of the text. Any idea what would cause that? I have changed the font style in the style sheet, but that's the only modification I've made. I've attached a screen shot for reference.

Thank you

Do you have any margin-top or padding-top settings for the drop-down style? that could cause it to display lower than the icon.

Likewise, do you have any padding values or vertical alignment defined for the base img tag, as all images will inherit from that tag, including the drop-down icons.

Lisa, that was it. I had padding on the images. Thank you.
