bypass spell-check in right-click on hyperlink

Post by kevinmcl »

As we know, there are multiple ways to perform most tasks in Flare.
Take editing a hyperlink...
[Ctrl][k] works, if that's the way you swing.
Mousing to the "Insert" menu and selecting "Hyperlink" also works.
But why is there the option of a right-click menu that includes "Edit Link" if it works only some of the time?
If link text is a dictionary word, and you right-click, you get a pop-up menu that includes "Edit Link" which I use a lot.
If link text is not a dictionary word, you get the spell-checker's suggested-substitutions menu, but no way (that I can see) to get to hyperlink edit from there, without backing out first and starting over.

I like to do things with Right-click, because keeping the habit continually reminds me that many OTHER things are available via Right-click.
I prefer not to add everything under the sun to the dictionary, just to prevent the spell-checker from raising its head at inconvenient times, yet I do like the "comfort" of seeing words underlined in red if they are somehow questionable.

Is there a way to have the Right-click pop-up include both (the Edit Link command and other options, plus the spell-check suggestions)?
It can't be difficult, since the right-click menu already varies depending on whether the text you right-click is in a table or not.

This might already be a selectable option in Flare... ?

I'm pretty sure there are just multiple right-click menus and they can't be combined with any flare settings (but you can submit a feature request here - https://www.madcapsoftware.com/bugs/submit.aspx ). when i get the "dictionary" right-click menu, i just add the word (or fix it) and when i right-click again, i get the "edit" menu.
