Hi all,
I've noticed a pretty strange little thing in my PDF output and hoping someone might know a fix.
My H1, H2, and H3 levels have a different top spacing, whether its margin or padding I'm not sure, depending on whether I set the topic to break to the next page or not.
Now, I have set my H1 and H2 topics to always start on a new page in the stylesheet, but that gives me a spacing of, lets say 5px, from the top. Where as if I set the topic in the TOC to 'Start a new chapter document' then the spacing is more like 10px, and in line with what I would expect to see.
So I guess, is there anywhere that controls spacing when using the chapter breaks in the TOC, or spacing when using page-break settings in the stylesheet?
Thanks,
Nick

what settings do you have for margin and padding for these styles?nickatwork wrote:My H1, H2, and H3 levels have a different top spacing, whether its margin or padding I'm not sure, depending on whether I set the topic to break to the next page or not.
do you have a special page layout for "first page of a chapter"? is the body frame exactly the same size and in the same place as a regular page? maybe it is lower in the that particular page layout, so it would make the first page look like it has a bigger top margin.
if you want 10px, what do you have set in the styles?nickatwork wrote:the spacing is more like 10px, and in line with what I would expect to see.
