I have an HTML help system created with V7 that is called by an application running in the Windows Embedded operating system. When the application is running, the user is captive in the application, e.g. the Windows taskbar is not present and there is no way to minimize or close the application. However, when the help system is invoked by the application, it has the Windows minimize, maximize and close buttons on the Help window, and it also puts an icon in the Windows task bar - causing the previously hidden task bar to appear. So I have 2 questions:
1. Is there a way to hide the minimize, maximize, close buttons on the HTML Help window?
2. Is there a way to keep the taskbar from coming up when Help is invoked from the application?

Re: HTML Help in Windows Embedded Application
Not with Flare. But the are a few SDKs out there (Software Development Kits) that allow you to do all sorts of things with the help window. Just altavista or yahoo a bitBoone wrote:1. Is there a way to hide the minimize, maximize, close buttons on the HTML Help window?
