Importing FM files to Flare

Post by Jasmine123 »

I'm importing Frame files into Flare. I notice that after import some sections go missing in Flare, sections that are there in FM files are not imported into Flare?

Also, "Output toc proxy" is included in the topic in Flare on import. Can someone please help me as to why am I getting this proxy on importing FM file into Flare?

Those 'missing' sections are probably grouped together with other sections in the same topic. you can configure the import settings to always create new topics with a certain heading and with a minimum number of words/characters. here is info from the flare help - http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare ... uments.htm

if you have a TOC in your FM file, it will create a TOC proxy for print output. if you're doing print output from these files, you can delete that topic.

there is a getting started guide for FM users that might be helpful for you to read too.
