Can I convert a Toc "topic" to a Toc Book?

Dear Madcaps,
It is very useful that if I drag a folder from content exlorer into my Toc it creates the books and topics. However if a content folder has no topics in it instead of creating a book I get Toc topics, unlinked of course since there isn't anything. What I want to do is either find a way to drag content folders and get toc books for each and/or convert toc topics to toc books. Any suggestions?

A toc topic will be converted to a toc book as soon as you put another topic under it (subordinate).
