Styles Apply from Style Window but Not from Style List

Issue:
I left for the day, having closed down my Flare projects but not my computer. As of the end of the day, everything in Flare was functioning as expected. The only thing that happened overnight was a backup of the server where our Flare projects are stored.

I came in for the day, started Flare, and opened the project I had been working on. In a topic, I attempted to change the style class of a paragraph using the Style List in the Text Format toolbar. Nothing happened. I attempted to change the style class by right-clicking on the paragraph, selecting Style Class, and choosing the style class. Nothing happened.

I normally don't work in the Text Editor or the Style Window, but when attempted changing the style class using these features, the style applied successfully.

Prior to calling MadCap Support, I tried shutting down the project, reopening it, and repeating these steps. I saw the same behavior. I also had an associate open the project, but on her PC the style classes worked successfully from the Style List.

Solution:
I don't know whether you can call this a solution, since MadCap Support was unable to figure out why this worked (and having copied both my style sheet and the topic to a project on their end, found that this issue was specific to my machine).

First, we determined that this issue was also project specific, since when I opened another project on my machine we were able to successfully apply styles from the style list.

What finally solved the problem was this: we opened another project, successfully applied styles from the Style List, and closed and reopened the project that wasn't working. Then applying styles from the Style List worked.
