I have an outline TOC that is divided properly into the chapters I want. I've checked and double-checked the page numbering settings and "Reset to " values.
The objective is to have the body appear with decimal numbering and the glossary appear with Roman numbering. In the chapters themselves, these are working correctly -- the footers in the body (using a chapter page layout) show 55,56,57 and the footers in the glossary (using a glossary page layout) show i, ii, iii.
The problem is that, in the ToC generated by the ToC proxy, the values are listed as body, 55, 56, 57 and Glossary, 1,2,3. How can I get the ToC Proxy to recognize that the chapters follow different schemes?

Re: Roman in TOC itself
A qualification: The above was about Word output. Output to PDF using the same page layouts and proxy correctly shows the Roman scheme for the index.

Re: Roman in TOC itself
I have the same issue. I have a preface whose footers contain page numbers formatted in Roman numerals but in the generated Word TOC come out as Arabic. Looks like a bug. Anyone have a workaround?
