Hello all,
Just wondering if there was a way to show the table of contents along with the Search at the same time. Thus when a user looks to the left pane they will see half of it filled by the table of contents and the other half filled by the search box (along with any search results, etc.).
Thanks.

Re: showing the table of contents along with the search
Unless I'm completely mistaken and/or there's some sort of very involved hack of the code, you won't be able to accomplish that in the WebHelp in version 7 or earlier.
However, in version 8, the new HTML5/WebHelp 2.0 output displays the search results in the main content area, keeping the TOC visible (or maybe the Index, Glossary, or Browse tabs, depending on what was active before you searched). And if you have Sync TOC turned on, when you click the search result topic it will be located in the TOC.
Not sure if that's exactly what you want since the search results will disappear once you click on one of them, but it's a little closer.
