I've got a master (webhelp) project containing a topic which is a list of documentation links, which gets updated quite often. I've also got a few webhelp child projects, which include the same topic. Currently I update the documentation links topic in the master project, publish it, then publish the child projects which automagically pull in the updated topic, because it's linked.
Ideally, however, I'd like to only publish the master project, and have the child projects instantly reflect the new content. It would be quicker, and reduce the chance of error (i.e. forgetting to update one of the child projects).
Does anyone know of any hacks / techniques that might allow me to display the topic content of a page in a master project in the content frame of a topic in a child project? maybe some javascript that would scrape the master topic & reproduce the html? bit of a long-shot, I guess...
cheers
