image thumbnails

I will test this, but saw someone say the link option doesn't work for image thumbnails. It did in 7 so that would be backward (regression, in the biz)

also and however, I'm looking at the option in flare help that is supposed to toggle showing all images as thumbnails on and off, and it doesn't seem to be working as described - checking or unchecking this has no impact. I have a page with both thumb and non-thumb images, they remain as they are.

any heads up on these two issues - esp the first one, news to me - much appreciated

Not sure I understand everything in your question/comments. However, for the thumbnail function, have you checked the img CSS style? you can turn thumbnail (default) on and off there.

There are two distinct features:

• Showing Images as Thumbnails in Output
  Showing Images as Thumbnails While Editing

Are you confusing the two? Check the two topics in Flare help under Features > Thumbnail Images.

apparently this ONLY applies to images that are NOT set to any thumbnail style. would be nice if there was an option to view full-size images when they are set to thumbnail, but guess this is still done by viewing in a different layout/medium
