PDF Output -TOC is not generated properly
PDF Output -TOC is not generated properly
I have created topic files with h1 and h2 headings. I have defined the TOC in such a way that it should pick up the topic files as required. The TOC has levels upto heading 5 but its picking the heading 4 and 5 level as heading 1 when I build the PDF. The style sheet has been defined to show upto 6 heading levels in the TOC.

Re: PDF Output -TOC is not generated properly
I am using Flare 7.2 and the mc-heading leavels are set correctly.
Re: PDF Output -TOC is not generated properly
Did you enable the "Use TOC depths for heading levels" in the target? If so, that will modify the headings used in the topics at build time depending on where (how deep) the topic is located in the TOC Editor.

Re: PDF Output -TOC is not generated properly
I've got the same problem and in Flare 8.
And yes, I'm using mc-heading-level: 0 to suppress h4 heads and yes I'm using "use TOC depths for heading levels" and the H4 in the TOC are showing when the CSS says to suppress them.

Re: PDF Output -TOC is not generated properly
If you have "Use TOC depths..." enabled, then what might be h4 in your topic could resolve to h3 or h5 (or something else) in the output, depending on how deep the topic is in the TOC. For instance, if you want it to remain an h4 tag, then it would have to be the fourth level down in the TOC (i.e., inside "Book4" that's inside "Book3" that's inside "Book2" that's inside "Book1"). Is that how deep you have the topic in the TOC? If it's only one level deep (i.e., inside "Book1"), then it would resolve to an h2 tag. Re: PDF Output -TOC is not generated properly
No, you've got this backwards.
In my topic, I've got h3 heads which become h4's in the TOC. I want to suppress these heads.
The CSS says to suppress all h4 heads and all p.TOC4 in the generated TOC.
There's a class on these H3s as well so I can suppress them from the TOC too.
But these heads show up in the TOC. What's wrong?
