Hi,
I noticed some older posts that said the skin for HTML help output cannot be changed. I am using Flare 7.2 and wonder if it is possible to do so now. I tried and couldn't change the skin (added Flare's factory shipped Blue skin and Green skin) but the output looks the same..no change. So I guess, it is still not possible to change the skin? Or have I missed something?
Thanks in advance
TeSol

Re: Skin change not displaying in output
I'm using skins in HTML Help from my C++ application.
I can't get the skin and window position to work at all. In earlier programs I could write:
through the
and the help would use the window size defined in the skin. I can't get this to worrk in Flare at all.

Hmmm. just found the correct "hh.dat" file, and deleted it. Now things seems to work.
Sorry.

Hi, Can you elaborate on the hh.dat solution? I've run out of ideas of how to make my HTML Help output take any notice of the window size settings defined in the skin.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Well, the hh.dat file contains cashed information about the HTML Help sessions you have run, including the window positions etc.
I believe that during trial and error testing of the HTML Help these informaion is somehow being corrupted.
Anyway, locating he hh.dat file (on my Windows Vista PC: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\HTML Help) and deleting it
solved my window layout problems.
