Hello, I have a sentence that ends with an inline icon and then a period. The sentence is also at the end of the paragraph. In print output, the period wraps to the next line. In other words, the period is sitting there all by its lonesome on one line. I could try resizing the icon, but what's to stop the problem from reappearing in the localized versions. Is there a way that I can keep the icon and the period together? (I tried inserting a non-breaking space between them, to no avail.)
Thanks in advance.
Keep end punctuation with inline icon?
Re: Keep end punctuation with inline icon?
You might check that your img tag doesn't have any padding or margin attributes set. If it does, perhaps create a custom img tag class that sets them to 0, or at least sets the padding-right and margin-right to 0 and apply that class to that specific image. If that doesn't work, you could try creating a span class and setting the white-space attribute to nowrap, then put that span tag around the image and the period.

Lisa's suggestions are bang on. But I'm curious: if you add a few words or remove a few words from the sentence so the icon and period will be in the middle of the page, does the period still wrap?
