Unable to hide the Index accordion

Post by JeromeR »

After compiling WebHelp, three unwanted things appear in the Help window:
  • The Index accordion appears in the lower left.
  • The Favourites accordion appears in the lower left.
  • A dockable Index pane appears in the lower-right.
HOW can I switch these off?

I use Flare 6. This problem started when I explored a few other output formats, then reverted to WebHelp.
Here's what I've tried:
  • In the Skin > General tab > I cleared the relevant check boxes.
  • In the Project > General tab, I associated my skin with the project.
  • I read the Help; it's all about how to switch these features ON, not off.
  • I searched the forums; the search string +Index Accordion Hide return too many results.

Unchecking them in the skin should work, but you might need to delete the output folder then rebuild the output to trick the browser into thinking you're looking at a new site (i.e., you might have been looking at a cached view instead of the new view). The deleting the output folder first seems to be especially important when modifying the skin.
