Flare still publishing TOC entry despite condition tags

Full subject should be: Flare still publishing TOC entry for Globally Linked Project (child) despite excluding with condition tags
I have a globally linked project where I don't want to publish the child yet, but I need to publish the master/parent. However, despite my applying condition tags to the TOC entry for the child in the Master TOC the project is still showing up when I build WebHelp. I applied the tags to both the TOC from the child project within the master project's TOC folder and I also applied them to the TOC entry linking to the project, but it is still there. Will it hurt anything to delete the TOC entry? Am I missing something? Do I need to apply the tags somewhere within the child project as well?
Thanks,
Robin

Make sure you're excluding the appropriate condition tags from the right target too. Sometimes I forget that step or do it in the wrong target.

You are saying that when you publish, the TOC entry is still there, even though there is a condition in the TOC entry that is supposed to be excluded in a given output?
That sounds like a bug. Do you have a support contract with MadCap? If so, open an e-mail case. If not, here is the
bug report form.
However, if the TOC is correct but the content is still being included (so you can find it in search, etc.), then there is a setting in the target that only includes linked files.
Setting conditions in the TOC doesn't prevent the actual files from being included in the build, it just affects the way the TOC displays content.

Yes, the book linking to the child project is still there in my TOC even though I have applied a condition to it in the Master project. I have two TOCs listed (master/child) with both the child's TOC and the actual link to the project in the master TOC marked and it is still there. I've e-mailed with one fellow Flare user who says it works for her so I must be missing a setting somewhere, but I'm jut not seeing it if I am. I'm trying to think how I can take screenshots and edit them so I'm not revealing anything, but there's still enough to share on here to tell what is going on. My brain is fried right now from the topics I've been editing today though...
No, we don't have support. I tried to get them to buy my new coworker's license before an offer which included support was up in Feb or March, but it wasn't bought in time.
Thanks,
Robin
